I have stayed at this beautiful gite in Aubeterre and can 100% say that it was absolutely wonderful. The gite was lovely to stay in and provided a brilliant holiday get a way. The area was wonderful, with a rural French atmosphere, even more so when the local market is on, just 5 minutes down the road. There is also a beach area about 10 - 20mins from the gite which is ideal for children and can provide great day time fun in the wonderful sunshine. There are many climbing places with only about an hours drive from the gite, the climbs vary from easy to challenging and therefore cater for all climbers. Some climbs can be top roped, there are also some good climbs for lead climbing. If bouldering is more to your fancy then there is a location which is ideal for bouldering.
