Overview

Andy is one of Britain's most popular leadership and instructor course providers and runs both Training and Assessment courses for the following Mountain Training Awards:

Mountain Leader Award, Hill & Moorland Award, Lowland Leader Award, Climbing Wall Instructor, Climbing Wall Development Instructor, Indoor Climbing Assistant, and Rock Climbing Instructor. Please check Andy's section on the Mountain Training CMS database for course dates. Courses can also be arranged specifically for particular groups of candidate (University students/trainee instructors/colleagues).

Andy also runs refreshers for those Awards, and re-assessments for those people who were Deferred at assessment.

It is also possible to arrange scrambling, climbing, walking days concentrating on coaching, leadership, skills or just plain enjoyment of the activity.

Andy acts as Technical Advisor to a number of Centres, Climbing Walls, DofE groups and other organisations. He is an BMC approved Legal Expert and Freelance Inspector for the Adventure Activities Licensing Service. Please get in touch directly to discuss your requirements.
