The apartment sleeps 4-6, is located the village of Vallouise. The superb granite of Ailefroide is 10kms up the valley, and a little further brings you to the approach for the Barres Des Ecrins (the alps southern most 4000m peak)as well as numerous other 3000m peaks. Within easy driving distance are a whole host of rock climbing venues - limestone & comglomerate. For ice climbing connoisseurs there is superb ice climbing close to the road within a 20 min drive of the apartment.Reviews

"Brilliant apartment with superb views'
very well specified internally with fantastic garden / patio area.Even had guide books in the appartment for loan
Good communication with owners - couldn't have been easier. Really well located for easy access to the granite climbing at Ailefroide
Will use this apartment again. Great location for small bistro eateries, lovely village
NB the location on the map is not accurate, this apartment is in Vallouise not as shown.

Brilliant accommodation,
Top spec apartment with fantastic views, only a stones throw from the facilites of Vallouise - great to be able to walk to the bakery in the morning.
