The wall is at the School and has been since Autumn 2008. It is open to the public on a Monday evening but they prefer for you to have attended one of their courses before going. They are open to groups hiring the wall. The administration is very disorganised, you have to be very determined if you want to climb here. The wall itself is very steep with 19 lines in it. The routes are generally quite hard and not well suited to beginners.

*Google maps position needs changing, wall is located approx 500m to SSE of position marked, immediately north of corner Landsdowne Rd/Lodge Rd. Public access is not technically allowed but can be had by hopping over 1.5m wall here.

Still going, apparently - but a new one is planned for 2008 once funding is in place. Hope the structure is preserved due to its historical significance (and benefits to finger strength).

There are plans for a new sports centre at the school, which apparently will include an indoor climbing wall with lead routes and possibly bouldering, although this is unconfirmed. It is likely that this may lead to the demolition of the existing wall. It must be said the wall is deteriorating and in urgent need of repointing etc, but it would be sad to see a wall with such historical value go.
Expect to see it gone in 2005-6 ish (maybe)
