Overview

Ackers Adventure's NEW Tower stands at over 70 foot (20 meters)in hieght and has the ability to provide even the most experienced climber a fun, exciteing and enjoyable time.
You can also now experience the Fan Descent from the tower a great adrenaline experience, free fall for two thirds of the descent before you are gradually slowed down towards the bottom.

All sides of The Tower will provide an opportunity to climb up and abseil down. The Tower has a wide range of climbing skills, whether you're a begginer or an advance climber.

Part of a large outdoor activity centre. Up to 10m outdoor floodlit block climbing tower with rock inserts for lead/toprope/bouldering, by DR, built 1988. Separate moulded concrete facility especially for disabled, built Bendcrete 1992.

Providing an excellent introduction to climbing, our two walls have a number of challenging routes. Our facilities allow climbers to climb recreationally, take private lessons, gain qualifications or hold a group climbing activity. Our After School Climbing Club for 8 - 16 year olds every Tuesday evening is also a popular activity at just £5 per person.
