The new wall is awesome, huge and well worth a visit. Bring a long rope and some endurance if you've got it.

Fantastic bouldering wall, fantastic climbing, it's got brilliant features, but unfortunatley there are no pictures of the featured walls. Well worth a visit if the weather is bad.

Fantastic Fun. Ideal for those who are wishing to progress onto real rock, but wish to try walls that are featured first. Ideal area to practice leading with overhanging leading walls which is a confidence booster if you fall off! Bouldering facilities are good with a featured bouldering walls. Friendly and helpful staff. Is it better than Sunderland Climbing Wall? Unsure. It certainly has many benefits for example featured walls and carpeted floors! However sunderland has the height advantage for duration stamina training. Give it a go, it is very good fun. £5 life time membership, and then £5 per visit there after (June 2006).

Have just been on an induction course and it was absolutely fantastic! Although Steve has climbed before, I haven't. The course was great for both of us. The instructors were very patient, (great if you're a first time climber - or a little scared of heights). Excellent selection of walls and very helpful instructors and staff.

You can hire equipment if you hav'nt got any (i.e. shoe's , harness etc) to lead climb you need your own rope . long bouldering wall which converts into a over hanging section , some angled walls opposite the door you walk in on on the right hand side there's over hangs and vertical walls and as your walking to the new section (recently built in 2002) theres a chimney next to the bouldering is some more vertical wall's , Various root's to take , and different difficulties Theres a rop ladder to build your confidence on trusting the equipment

Luke's comment is a bit erm, wrong. To climb at all at rock antics you must be a member (3£ for life), and if you are 14 to 17 years old you get a green junior members card. To climb on the lead walls you must have your own rope and be able to belay competently. You also get discounts at local climbing shops with the membership card.

This is a great wall, but you're not allowed to lead unless you have a 'green card', which most climbers don't bother with.
