Overview

All the routes have been reset for 2006 with hundreds of new holds -check it out soon...There is approximately 150 sq m of wall with 9 roped routes. No facility for leading. All equipment available for hire and drink and confectionery machines are on site. Courses for children and adults throughout the year.
The Ivybridge wall is rapidly gaining a reputation of being one of the best walls in the south Devon area. The staff are friendly and helpful. The wall is undergoing an extension in the near future. The routes range from easy to extreme with a variety of moulded holds and hand formed holds. Anyone can climb from complete novices with no experience to climbers who wish to train or simulate moves. If needed the instructors will move holds for the climbers and instruct novices, really you just got to ask. We are here to help in any way. Tel 01752 698315 Kim (Community Sports Development Manager) or 01752 894233 Gary Quest (Climbing Instructor) [A review by, we suspect, the staff; user reviews welcomed - UKC Ed 6/06]

There is now a overhang section, and an angled wall... great indoor venue.

On holiday and found this superb venue. Really friendly staff and some difficult routes. Would benefit from a overhang which I believe is planned for this summer. Would certainly recommend. AAA+++

Good variation in climbs - its up to you to make it as easy or hard as possible. I can't think of any climbing wall that is painted like this one! FAB idea....anyone who climbs in the area should have a look.
