Overview

Warwick Climbing Club is a BMC affiliated climbing club with approximately 80 members. We encourage lead climbing, mountaineering, scrambling, hill walking, skiing and, to a lesser extent, mountain biking. We aim to offer a friendly atmosphere where local climbers can meet and climb. The club organises outdoor trips about three times a month during the summer months and less frequently during winter.

The club meet at the climbing wall in St Nicholas Park Leisure Centre, Warwick on Wednesdays, 7pm-9:30pm. We meet socially on Wednesday evenings from 9pm at The New Bowling Green, St Nicholas Church Street, Warwick.

Most regular climbers also go to Warwick University Climbing Centre on Thursdays and less frequently Tuesdays.

Ask climbing staff at Warwick University Climbing Centre and they can usually direct you to one of the members, with a few regular gym rats always there.
