Overview

With over 100 members we have events every week of the year.

Weekly weekend local meets, regular trips further afield including the Alps and Kalymnos. Weekday evening climbing on Tuesdays in the Peak during the summer.

New members always welcome whatever your level of experience.

The Castle has a clubroom behind the Rising Sun pub on Abbey Lane, Sheffield 11, with its own indoor climbing wall. Monthly slide shows during winter.

We also meet at the Depot and Hanger, Foundry and Awesome Walls. See website for details.

Open Climbing Weekend on Friday 10 May and Sunday 12 May 2024 at Awesome Walls, Sheffield and Stanage Edge, Europe's premier gritstone crag. See website. Booking essential.
