Overview
The Bowland Challenge Friday 17th - Saturday 18th July 2009.This is a fun challenge event that raises money for Mountain Rescue.
The aim of the challenge is for teams of 2 to 6 adults to visit as many points as possible from a list of specified grid references within a 10 hour period. All points are within the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Each team sets their own route so decides exactly how far they wish to walk.
Entry to the Bowland Challenge costs £35 per person. This entry fee covers 2 nights campsite fees and evening meals on Friday & Saturday night.
The Bowland Challenge is organised by Mountain Rescue Team members, raising funds for Bowland Pennine Mountain Rescue Team. (Registered Charity No 511072)
