Overview

The Langside Mountaineering Club is based in the south side of Glasgow and is in it's 51st year. We're an active mountaineering, rock climbing and hill-walking club with camping and bunkhouse meets 9 months of the year. We have members of all ages.

We meet on a Wednesday night at Camphill Bowling Club, Langside Avenue, Shawlands from 9:30pm onwards. The climbers amongst us usually go to the Glasgow Climbing Centre at Ibrox every Wednesday evening during the winter months. During the summer this is replaced with cragging at local venues such as Auchinstarry, Neilston, The Whangie, Craigmore, Ben An and Loudon Hill.
