Welcome to the Aberystwyth Mountaineering Club!

What We Do: 

We are a friendly club dedicated to all kinds of mountaineering, ranging from bouldering to sport and trad climbing! We train in the University Sports Centre weekly and go on loads of exciting trips to some of the best climbing locations in Wales and the UK. We also have an annual trip to Alicante, Spain where you get the chance to hone your sport climbing skills! 

Where To Find Us:

• Join us for Weekly BoxRox Bouldering sessions on Mondays in the Sports Centre between 19:00 and 20:00.

You can also find us in BoxRox on:

• Monday 20:00 - 21:00
• Wednesday 13:00 - 15:00
• Thursday 18:00 - 21:00 (first-hour ladies only)
   

We try to go climbing on real rock whenever the weather lets us. The club also has lots of equipment to help you get started, or supplement your current rack (climbing term for the gear you have).

Our socials are every Tuesday starting at 20:00 in Pier Hotel.

All Abilities Welcome!

This year we will be running lots of climbing courses (instructed by Antur UK) for all levels of climbing, so whether you're new to the sport or can climb 8As, everyone is welcome! 

We are also dedicated to the inclusion and acceptance of all members regardless of age, race, ethnicity, ability, culture or nationality, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religious affiliation, socioeconomic status and marital status.
