Stayed there again this weekend. Was really impressed. It is cheap. Quieter too. And the the toilets and showers are newly renovated. so better than the others in the area. Nice location - minutes from Castleton. The guy who runs it is friendly but likes his signs. Last time I commented on the cement works but is really is just a hum in the background (my friend couldn't hear it) that is greatly outweighed by the positives.

I stayed with a couple of mates for 2 nights and really liked it. The cement works weren't really very noisy and I found the facilities to be clean and generally very good. The cost per night is now £5 per person per night. I'd definitely go back again.

I stayed there last year on a course and I found the toilet and shower to be clean - you can get lucky or unlucky at any campsite/bunkhouse ablution block. The owners seemed on top of their game to me - not disorganised.

I stayed with a mate for two nights. The site was spacious. Popular with DofE groups though. Also amazed that no one mentions that is is right next to a 24 hour cement works with noisy machinery going off all night. toilets and shower were fine but useless if you arrive in the middle of the night and don't have the code to get in!

Nice site, beautiful location. Let down by completely disorganised owners.Parking and pitching is a free-for-all.Toilet facilities pretty new but disgustingly filthy.Would take a little more effort from the owners to keep this busy site safe and clean.

My husband, myself and our four children use this campsite almost every weekend. The scenery is wonderful and it is very peaceful. We have always been satisfied with the condition of the toilets and showers. Our children love it there and are safe from busy roads. It is basic camping but isnt that what camping is about? Well done pindale farm keep it up!!!

we have spent last night at pindale farm and unfortunately did not view toilets and showers before paying 2 nights camping the ladies toilets and showers were out of action due to vandalism by guests last weekend and the mens (which my wife had to use) were extremely dirty with an overflowing bin and dirty showers. the washing up facilities were in the same disgusting state.

This is one of my favourite campsites. Its cheap, quiet apart form the cement works behind and the toilets and showers are very nice and modern - free hot water as well
