Overview

Spacious 4 bedroom gite with superb mountain views. Use of a large mature garden and a proper 10 * 5 metre swimming pool. Sun terrace with seating to enjoy a relaxed and tranquil holiday.

We are situated within minutes of the some of the most interesting and varied climbing in the Ariege... All limestone, there are 250+ routes ranging from 10 to 250 metres in length, graded from F3c to F8c.

Further afield, the Ariege offers more than 2000 routes on limestone and granite... Single and multi-pitch sport and trad climbing (the longest multi-pitch is 1150 metres) and bouldering.

We also offer combined yoga and climbing holidays - Yoga is great for improving flexibility, balance, stamina and mental focus.

Had a very good 10 days staying in the gite, everything I would expect from good climbing accommodation including good crag access, good supermarket and boulangerie access, great views and a nice place to unwind with a beer. The location really is superb and the hassle was very minimal. Highly recommended and very competitive for the area.

We've just returned from a fantastic week climbing in this part of Ariege. Excellent, relaxing accommodation at La Hasta (we had the gite) - superb hosts, and a great location, close to the single and multi-pitch limestone routes at Calames and Sedour (you can see the crag from the garden!), a stone's throw from the granite crags at Auzat, and within striking distance of the fantastic long granite routes on the Dent d'Orlu - definitely worth a visit. We'll be back for more next year.
