Modern and lightweight, yet stable trekking boot for demanding terrain. A more modern iteration of the classic trekking boot. 15% lighter due to its 3D prism base sole. The sole also has climbing zones and extra durability in key areas. The TPU shank creates stability in the foot. All European Leathers and European made. It has a two-zone lacing system which makes unlacing after a muddy walk easy. The lightweight PU cuff is much softer and more comfortable than the usual leather.
La Sportiva - Olympus Mons RRP £835
The Olympus Mon has received a major overhaul for 2019. Being that it used to be comically massive/heavy the new version has been significantly stripped back, yet retains the warmth. With a dial to adjust the fit and two inner boots it really is something completely different and unique. A reflective Primaloft lining across the sole provides further warmth, as does the thick EVA sole. Carbon honeycomb midsole which retains warmth. Weighing in at 1050kg per boot, these are extremely lightweight!
Mammut - Magic High GTX and Taiss Light Mid GTX RRP £260 & £350
The Taiss is a B2 boot which weighs as much as an approach shoe at 510g! Still very rigid with lots of toe protection and memory foam around the ankle. Stretch Gore-Tex fabric on the tongue to make it easy to get your foot in. Ideal for fast and light Alpine ascents. The Magic is also B2 workhorse boot designed for gnarly Scottish walk-ins. Memory foam in the tongue. Base Fit technology which attaches around the back of the boot to the laces and keeps your heel in place. ISO rate down to minus 25 degrees.
Scarpa - Furia Air RRP £140
At 150g the Furia Air is the lightest climbing shoe ever made (by some margin). Modelled on the same last as the Furia S, but constructed using much lighter components. It'll come as no surprise it isn't the most supportive, but given that it's designed with indoor/competition climbing in mind.

A boot designed for use in the snow. Featuring a waterproof gaiter and an insulated PrimaLoft inner. It's very lightweight at 500g. Easy to fit with an elasticated lacing system similar to a ski boot. It has an Arctic Grip sole which features a special rubber compound for extra grip on ice and snow.
Kayland - Dry Dragon and Ice Dragon
The Dry Dragon is a shoe designed specifically for dry tooling. The Ice Dragon is a boot designed for Ice Climbing. Both feature a carbon sole and a detachable crampon purpose made by Cassin. They are also compatible with Black Diamond and Petzl crampons. They have a waterproof zipped cover and, on the Ice Dragon, a PrimaLoft lining to keep your feet warm. The laces are quick fastening laces, the fit looks like being snug and sock-like, and on the shoe, the heel cup is snug to prevent your heel lifting out.
