The summit of our knowledge and craftsmanship, the Mythic 200, 400 & 600 challenge the limit of what is technically possible. Hand-filled with ethically sourced 900 fill power hydrophobic down, these fully-featured bags have the best warmth to weight ratio in the Rab range.

Weighing in at just 475g, the Mythic 200 has a tiny packsize and Rab Sleep Limit of 1°C, making it ideal for situations where weight is crucial to success. At the other end of the range, the Mythic 600's Rab Sleep Limit goes down to a chilly -16°C offering ultimate warmth at only 885g.

"When designing the Mythic, our mission was to never compromise. Understanding the environment our bags are used in we wanted to retain all the critical features and user comfort while still being ultralight.

We want our users to know you can rely on our expertise to keep you safe no matter how lightweight you go. The best part of all this is we still have ideas to save even more weight and improve warmth."

Chris Bottomley, Rab Product Designer

Made from Pertex® Quantum 7D fabric, the tapered mummy shape and angled foot box give a generous fit while our unique trapezoidal baffle construction prevents down shift. Further boosting warmth, the chambers are angled downward in a chevron shape to ensure the down is kept over the centre of your body.

Hand filled, stitched and finished in Derbyshire, the Mythic 200, 400 and 600 retain all the features you need to stay warm and protected in the mountains:

  • Ergonomically designed internal collar with drawcord.
  • Additional hood drawcord which can be cinched in for extra warmth.
  • YKK main zip with glow in the dark puller.
  • Anti-snag bonded zip guard to eliminate draughts.
  • Dry bag compression stuffsack.

Designed to withstand the challenges of moving fast and light in alpine environments, Guy Buckingham, Rab AMI Test Team, tells us more about his experience using the Mythic 600:

"I used the Mythic 600 on a recent trip to the Himalaya making the first ascent of Janhukot (6805m), this required a round trip of 8 days above basecamp in very mixed weather conditions. Where every once counts, the Mythic provided the perfect balance of weight to warmth coping with the condensation as well as the cold, providing a consistent exemplary performance. This, for me, was the best piece of kit from the trip and will be my sleeping bag of choice for future expeds."
