The Stretch Neo range takes advantage of an all new technology from Polartec - the new Neoshell® fabric. Neoshell Fabric takes softshell technology one step further. Polartec have managed to find the 'holy-grail' of highly breathable, 99.9% windproof and waterproof fabric that even has stretch built in.

By increasing air exchange in the fabric it dramatically improves the active environment within the garment, users will be drier inside (in a wide range of activities and exertion levels) than ever before.

We have used the Neoshell fabric and applied tried and tested Rab design know-how. The Jacket is a simple, uncluttered design (with a helmet compatible and adjustable hood, 2 napoleon pockets with water resistant zips and 2 internal mesh pockets).

The Pants are fully waterproof and highly breathable over trousers with 3/4 length side zips to make getting them on and off very easy, 2 zip pockets with water- resistant zips, belt loops and brace attachment points and reinforced crampon patches.

So these pant's - they come with Ants in them or do you need to put them there yourself and how does it work? Do they have a snow gaiter type arrangement to keep them inplace?

Thats what they have said (or something similar) about every new waterproof technology for at least the past twenty years. Excuse me while I keep my money in the bank until my current jacket is completely and utterly trashed, maybe in five years, or so. Then I'll get to try the 'just out', Neoshell 'V'............which of course will be the new 'holy grail'.
