Kayland Gravity Gear News

The Gravity is the most advanced shoe in the Kayland range. It's designed to be technical enough for via ferrata and proper approach use but also comfortable enough to hike in all day.

An entirely synthetic shoe, the Gravity is built around an asymmetric last that provides good foot hold and precision when needed. This is further enhanced by the lacing system which extends most of the way down to the toes.

The innovative and exclusive outsole uses two different types of Vibram rubber compounds. Megagrip forms the main part of the outsole and provides traction on a variety of terrain. Idrogrip around the toe and heel area gives amazing grip on rock when climbing and descending. The EVA midsole is super light and provides enough comfort and shock absorption for all day use.

The Gravity's climbing credentials are also bolstered by a protective rand on the toe made from sticky rubber. The Ekso Tech micro injected skeleton also provides additional support and abrasion resistance.

Gore-Tex and non Gore-Tex lined versions are available, as is a Women's specific fit. Best of all the Kayland Gravity is extremely light - especially for a traditionally lasted, European made shoe. The Men's size 8 Gravity weighs a scant 640 per pair.
