One of the keys to our success is the effort we put into educating retail staff about our products, ensuring that they have the knowledge and expertise to talk to their customers with confidence. We’re looking for an outdoor enthusiast with a thorough understanding of technical outdoor gear to join our team of trainers. The successful applicant will have a solid appreciation for our client base and the presentation skills necessary to inspire retail staff with our brand message and product innovations.



As a technical sales trainer you will travel extensively throughout the Eastern half of England and will ideally be based in the South East. You will be visiting key accounts where you will be responsible for the motivation and training of retail personnel. Your goal will be to promote both the values of our brands and the technical benefits of our products as well as developing strong working relationships with key clients.



The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, well organised and a great communicator. You may already be working in outdoor retail or elsewhere within the outdoor industry. The role involves regular travel away from home and it is essential that you have a full, clean driving licence and the right to work in the UK. Both of these requirements will be verified prior to appointment.
As well as regular visits to the Equip offices in Alfreton and Kendal, there is also a requirement for some weekend work at trade shows…etc.

The exact territory to be covered will be determined partly by the home location of the successful candidate but is broadly the Eastern region of England.
