After a successful winter and as the snows recede even if somewhat abruptly this spring, it's time to think of the summer programmes and courses that we are offering in the Scottish Highlands.

We offer a range of summer hill walking courses through to advanced guided rock climbing courses from the valley crags to mountain cliffs and sea stacks. These courses are all tailormade to suit individual needs.

Our courses are listed below and give a rough outline of examples but we can tweak and change things to your requirements and also we can facilitate the idea's that you may have.

Course Details

Summer Hill skills
This course is designed to give the mountain novice the skills required to travel within the mountains with safety. Covered: Navigation, Route Choice and Planning, Emergency Procedures, Equipment and Weather interpretation.

Guided Munros
This aims to give people of all abilities the chance to scale some of Scotland's great mountains in a true wildernesses setting. Covered: Summits throughout the Highlands from Glen Coe to Ben Nevis the Cairngorms and North West Highlands

Scrambling Instruction and Guiding
Scrambling moves on from hill walking to introduce ropes and more exposed climbing on some of Scotland's more adventurous ridges and buttresses. We can cover skills required to tackle things independently or give you a guided adventure picking out some of the prime lines.

Skye Traverse
Enjoy a tailormade trip across one of the UK's premier mountain journeys 'The Skye Ridge' a three day course giving a warm up day or poor weather flexibility day. This is a fantastic journey across thin knife edge sections, technical rock pitches and abseils. All done with the back drop of the Scottish Western Isles.

Rock Climbing Courses
We cover a full range of rock courses using some of the greatest venues in the UK with the wild Scottish west Coast sea cliffs, mountain crags in Glen Coe and the Cairngorms to the low level valley crags. These can be introductory courses right through to learning to lead and advanced guided excursions such as the Old Man of Hoy and other such classics.
