DMM is pleased to welcome Lucy Creamer to their team of sponsored climbers. Lucy needs little introduction. If you had to name Britain's most technically accomplished and best known all-round female rock climber you'd be likely to say Lucy Creamer.

Her wide-ranging experience includes onsighting sport 8a, redpointing sport 8b+ (first Brit female), E6/7 trad onsight (Boss Hogg), headpointing E8, M9 mixed climbing (F.A. Mighty Aphrodite), bouldering Font 7c+ (Trente-Six, Veaux) and establishing a new 600m route on The Baroness (Venus Envy, E4/5 6a) in Greenland.

Over the years, Lucy has without doubt literally been the leading lady when its come to the British competition climbing scene: seven times British Leading Champion since 1997/98 and British Bouldering Champion in 2001. Internationally, she has qualified for two World Cup Finals with a best place of ninth.

Lucy will be drawing on all this experience in providing important feedback from her everyday use of DMM's gear. Lucy commented: "It's great to be working with a climbing company such as DMM that traditionally has always had a close involvement with the British climbing scene. The kit is the ultimate in design and production as well as being cool products for your rack. And its hardware that is manufactured in Wales! Great for the environment and the UK economy."

Asked what her plans for the winter were, she said: "I'm psyched for my sport climbing at the moment. I'm hoping to get some more 8b+'s done and who knows, if I get strong enough, maybe an 8c! I was hoping to have done a lot more trad done this summer but that didn't work out. I'm going to train for a couple of months before going to Osp (Slovenia) and perhaps Spain from January onwards."
