British Mountain guides Logo British Mountain Guides have a new logo, and a fantastic new website!

You could be forgiven for assuming that British Mountain Guides were technological luddites who were far too busy climbing or skiing to worry about websites. You may have been right in the past – but their new website (designed by Richard Lundberg of peakm3) reflects their passion for the mountains, and takes the public face of the association into the twenty first century.

A British Mountain Guide is an IFMGA Guide which, put simply, means an internationally qualified guide with the knowledge and skills to lead parties in the world's most challenging mountain environments. From those first tentative steps, to fulfilling your wildest dreams, British Mountain Guides safely and successfully lead people on rock, snow, ice and ski adventures throughout the world.

The new website is crisp, clear and contains all the information that anyone considering hiring a guide needs to know. There is an excellent enquiry service, a directory of all British Mountain Guides, and the blogs and forums will keep you up to date with conditions around the globe. Packed full of useful information, articles, and a busy community section – you can find out who Guides are, what they can do for you, and even how to become one (arguably the best job in the world)!
