This high-performance mountaineering boot suitable for use with crampons is able to combine all the features that modern-day mountaineers require for high altitude ventures in a single boot.

PRECISION
Thanks to internal lacing without the use of hooks, the Miage Peak GTX guarantees to wrap perfectly around the foot ensuring complete control over every step. The two-stage lacing system also allows the foot and ankle to be regulated differently. The external strap, which can easily be adjusted according to requirements, keeps the ankle firmly in place whilst climbing or can be loosened it for walking. The integrated, heavy-duty fabric gaiter also contributes to precision by adhering perfectly and reducing volume.

COMFORT
The shape of Miage Peak GTX is precise but not extreme and along with the meticulous construction and materials used, ensures an impeccable fit. Comfort is also provided by protection from the weather; the Gore-tex Insulated Comfort Duratherm lining guantees watertightness and thermal insulation. Miage Peak GTX is also fitted with a complete rubber welt, higher on the inside of the foot, to protect against cutting by the crampons or rocks.

LIGHTNESS
Miage Peak GTX has been designed to reduce the weight of all its components to a minimum, without compromising on functionality. The integrated gaiter is made from Superfabric®, an extremely lightweight yet resistant material with a high degree of elasticity, which allows a lightweight external shell to be created in one piece, thereby limiting seams and possible tears and abrasion. The carbon-fibre insole guarantees the rigidity required for climbing over ice without adding any extra weight to the boot.

This high-performance winter gem is equipped with the Peak FC sole, which features polyurethane cushioning intersole, attachments for automatic crampons and the Vibram® Penia outsole, which guarantees cushioning and an excellent grip on rocky and icy terrain.
