New in .... oh so comfy and work just as hard as you do what we're wearing this summer.

Whether you're bouldering in the Val di Mello valley or scrambling your way up Helvellyn, your body will move in all kinds of dynamic ways, so why not wear kit that moves with you? Made for movement, these items have been developed with technical, ethically sourced fabrics that feel oh so comfy and work just as hard as you do when you're out exploring the mountains.

Here's a small selection of the Alpkit summer clothing range. Check out the full line up here.

We like the unknown: we like the mystique of it, the capacity for spontaneous exploits. But dressing for the unknown is difficult. Will it be too sweaty for cotton? Is it too hot for merino? Will you look like a right numpty sat in the pub in a super technical base layer? With the Picu Tee though, we think we might just have all bases covered.

Made from high-performance drirelease® fabric, the Picu Tee is a lightweight moisture-wicking t-shirt that feels as nice next to the skin as your favourite worn-to-death cotton number. We wanted a t-shirt that would be as comfortable to wear on hard climbs, sunny bike tours and trekking overseas as it would down at the bar, cafe or pizzeria after a hard day's activity.

Masino Vest - £25

Marginal gains are all the rage these days, but we all know the fanciest gear in the world won't make you a better climber. Neither will stealing your mate's inhaler.

When you're leading on a hard sport grade or trying to crack a tantalisingly in reach boulder problem before the routes get reset, clothing that works as hard as you do can make all the difference to one key variable: enjoyment.

The Masino vest is a hardwearing and hardworking climbing vest made from a supportive stretch fabric. Wide crossover straps hug closely between the shoulder blades to stop the dreaded mid-climb-strap-slip and an integrated bralette keeps everything in place for more dynamic manoeuvres. With the Masino's in-built stretch your arms are free to do their thing and even the most ambitious of reaches are still within your… well, reach.

Mello Tights - £29

The Mello does what it wants: it goes with the flow, rolls with the punches, takes it as it comes. You can't pigeonhole Mello and put it in a neat box – Mello's too mellow for that kind of thinking.

We've all got one of those rare pieces of outdoor kit: an item of clothing so comfortable and reliable that it transcends its original purpose and gets worn for absolutely everything. With a 4-way stretch for high strides and awkward bouldering moves, sweat wicking properties, and a durable knit to stand up to Derbyshire grit and rough indoor walls, the Mello Tight has your back. Or rather: your legs.

Close-fitting but not compressive, the tights have a mid to high-rise cut and deep waistband to ensure complete coverage and comfort when climbing or scrambling. This fit, combined with the flatlock seams, also ensures that the tights fit neatly under a harness or rucksack hip belt. The fabric is completely opaque to prevent any show-through and there's a neat side pocket for smartphones and perpetual flapjack crumbs.

Cool spring evenings on the hill, crisp autumn mornings at the crag, summer days in the Alps… The outdoors is more than just a hobby

Designed for those crisp Alpine days and fine evening hikes on Kinder, Kraft are insanely comfy organic cotton canvas trousers with technical features that make them perform in the hills.

A natural fibre alternative for active outdoor living that complement nylon tech trousers. Spot on for bouldering, biking, bivvying, mucking about in the woods, or loading the van with bikes for the weekend, they're durable and comfy.

An articulated fit and gusseted crotch give Kraft mountain trousers unrestricted movement. The fit is roomy enough for all-day use, yet still slim and stretchy enough to boulder and ride: think cooler days or evenings at the crag and fine weather Alpine hikes.
