Roam far and wide in new Berghaus hiking shoes Gear News

Berghaus has expanded its range of footwear for 2018 with new high-performance shoes designed for any hiking challenge. The women's Kanaga and men's Fellmaster Active are waterproof, comfortable, grippy and tough, and are built for long days of walking, from valley bottom to fell top.

The Berghaus Kanaga and Fellmaster Active shoes are packed with the latest footwear technology. Features in each shoe include: A waterproof GORE-TEX® membrane combined with 3D air mesh for improved breathability; extensive cushioning and excellent stability thanks to a four-section sole; an OrthoLite® footbed for cushioning and extended anti-microbial odour protection; and flexible but tough nubuck leather uppers. Underfoot, an OPTI-STUD® Hike outsole with Vibram® rubber promises excellent traction, even on tricky terrain. The Kanaga and Fellmaster Active are built on women's and men's specific lasts respectively, and designed to deliver extended comfort on the hills from day one.

The Berghaus Kanaga and Fellmaster Active complete a comprehensive multi-active footwear collection from Berghaus for 2018. They join the well-established Explorer Active GTX and Expeditor Active AQ shoes, and the new FT18 GTX shoes, to complement the brand's successful hiking boot range. A pair of Kanaga shoes weighs 752g (UK size 6) and a pair of Fellmaster Active shoes weighs 874g (UK size 9). Both styles retail at £125 and are available from www.berghaus.com and selected specialist outdoor retailers.
