Outdoor Research are expanding their range of products, based around their best-selling Helium Rain jacket for Spring Summer 21.

The range utilises the Bluesign approved Diamond Fuse fabric technology from Pertex and includes the new Helium Wind Hoody.

The Diamond Fuse material has yarn made of diamond shaped filaments locking together to create an engineered structure and its flat surface improves water shedding. This technology provides twice the abrasion resistance of a fabric with conventional yarn and offers great stability over extended wash and wear cycles.

Highly weather protective but very breathable, the Helium Wind Hoodie takes the tried-and-tested wind shell concept and boosts the durability for demanding high-exertion pursuits. Built using a lightweight, minimal and clean silhouette, the Helium Wind Hoodie adds exceptional ruggedness thanks to Pertex Diamond Fuse 30D fabric, which is far more durable than the usual suspects in the wind shell category.

Every effort has been made to keep this wind shell simple, including an extremely low-profile peripheral adjustment in the hood, a zipped chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack and laser perforated under arm vents.

A womens version is available with slightly different specification, it has a Krypta Crop stretch woven fabric at the hip for a close to body fit and a lower right zipped front pocket.
