This element-repelling, pull-on anorak jacket features an air insulation concept designed to 'guarantee the best performance' in wind resistance. It stows easily and the nylon ripstop fabric is treated with a DWR coating making it highly water resistant. The body mapping leaves the sleeves free, making it easy to pull on and off.

Hansjörg Auer tested the Alpine Project kit climbing the new route Bruderliebe on the south face of Marmolada in August 2011. He appreciated the lightness and extreme windproof ability of the jacket on the exposed face.

“The final day on which you free the line is the most important day, because all the effort, the invested time, the preparation and so on is coming to an end. Many things are coming together to the magical point on the summit when you shake hands with your friend. It was my brother Vitus with whom I shared this moment. He was supporting me nearly the whole time. He was hanging on the belay for hours while I was battling my way up, looking for climbable features and placing protection. The new line is named Bruderliebe and I am really happy that I got the opportunity to carve 19 pitches along this nice piece of rock and to add another page to the climbing history of Marmolada south face.”
