Designed and optimised for breathable waterproof garments, it leaves a flexible water repellent treatment on individual fibres allowing moisture vapour to pass through, maintaining breathability.
Clothing can soak up rain simply because it is dirty. However, using regular household detergents to clean your gear leaves water-attracting residue, inhibiting water-repellency. Wash with Nikwax Tech Wash to effectively clean and revive water-repellency, then after 4 to 6 washes reproof your garments using TX.Direct Wash-In to add DWR. This DWR develops on air drying with no need to tumble dry.
