Jöttnar Launches Winter Range Gear News

Jöttnar has released the first tranche of its Winter 2019/20 range. It sees an additional six new products join the collection, with a further seven to follow later in the season.

The new products include an ultra-lightweight hydrophobic down jacket, a mid-layer made from fabric designed for the Special Forces, a shell jacket for the most savage conditions and a hardshell drop-seat pant for winter climbers, alpinists and ski mountaineers.

All feature the highest quality and most technologically advanced fabrics, built with Jöttnar's customary attention to detail.

New range highlights include:

Grim: a fully featured mountain hardshell jacket built for the harshest of winter conditions. Made from waterproof, windproof, breathable SKJOLDR™ in a burly 70 x 140 denier grade. Protection and durability for all conditions.

Asger: a lightly insulated, technically sophisticated jacket for high output activity. A windproof, water repellent outer is built around a Polartec® Alpha® inner for the perfect balance of warmth and breathability.

Tor: the lightest hydrophobic down jacket in the range. Its 850 Fill Power goose down gives it an outstanding warmth to weight ratio, but without any fragility and feature compromises. Its 7-denier fabric is amongst the lightest technical face fabrics in the world.

Valdyr: a severe condition hard shell pant for winter climbers, alpinists and ski-mountaineers. Built from SKJOLDR™ windproof, waterproof, breathable fabric, for superb harsh weather protection, comfort and durability.

Grim, Asger and Tor

Existing items within the range are being carried forward and incorporate new colours and performance updates.
