Where can I get replacement ice picks?  Ideally I would like to try before I buy rather than ordering by mail.

Recent experience says I need new picks for my Edelrid Katana Pro ice blades.  However this model was discontinued by Edelrid some years ago and they don't carry spares.

The picks for the Rage and Riot don't look right , so would consider substitution of a compatible pick from other maker.

Unfortunately picks are specific to the model(s) of tool you have...

The 2 biggest "aftermarket" pick manufacturers are both mail-order for you, Krukonogi on Russia and Kuzniaszpeju in Poland. Krukonogis did only have picks for Rage, so that is a no-go.

How ever Kuznias seem to have something https://kuzniaszpeju.pl/en/kategoria/pick/?filter_czekan=katana-en However, best to email and verify.

I have recently purchased from the Polish pick makers and can confirm they are legitimate and trusted.

It does seem a bit dodgy when you're own bank is asking for all kinds of information as it's probably screaming out "HE'S SENDING MONEY TO WHO!?!? WHERE!? WHY!?"

The picks arrived well within the time I was told they would. Well packaged too. I have yet to climb any ice with the them yet though.

Got some quark picks from here also- cheap, fast and the picks look good although I've not tried them yet.

Well, I have both Kuznias and Krukos. They both work and in fact are better than the originals (my tools are BD), granted where as BD used to have 3 types of pics, the aftermarket options was more like 4 to 6... so obviously a more specialised pick works better for the indented purposes, but even the generic pick from Kuznia (the Tatra) works fine for most climbing (ice in reasonable temps, mixed and dry tooling).
