looks pretty wild but i've had a trip booked in for ages so will still head up on the chance something can be done. does seem to be some snow at the moment (in and amongst rain and gales!). staying in fort william, first winter trip for about 6 years so looking for somewhere to practice basic skills, perhaps with a summit after that. currently thinking lower slopes of SCNL in Glen coe for some basic practice - might be a better bet than lower slopes of the ben i'm thinking.
any suggestions welcome, plus any other low grade/winter walking routes folk are considering this weekend/early next week (all subject to weather and sais forecasts of course)
