Anyone free midweek for a wander up to Torpentau icefall (Merthyr Tidfil) to see if it's in condition?  Or alternatively, does someone who lives locally know that it almost certainly won't be?

Seen some posts in various groups on facebook about a few icefalls in S Wales, seem to be a fair bit freezing up. Wonder if any ascents have been logged yet!

I went up to Torpentau today.  There were a couple of teams out, making the most of the weather window.  The icefall looked complete (from the top).  It was pretty windy and -4, so felt pretty cold.  The road up from Talybont reservoir had a light covering of snow but was really slippy.  I ended up walking all the way up the hill, so arrived later than expected.
