Hopefully it will drift south of the border too!

We could do with a proper winter.

If James Madden is a meteorologist, I'm a heart surgeon.*

(*I am not a heart surgeon).

I suspect this is the kind of thing Daily Record readers will be subjected to since the Mirror Group bought the Daily Express.

Oh yeah, this guy: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/georgemonbiot/2015/apr/09/daily-exp...

Weird that they just keep doing it, you'd think reader were bored by now!

The fact that a link like this still gets posted here is evidence that it's working for them.

It was supposed to be a joke...

In reply to Heike:

Yeah, I know you were joking but they don't care. A link is a link. If people are discussing their stories seriously or sarcastically, it's still a win for them.

The Bristol Post are saying four months of snow for Bristol. Yep, Bristol.

But then again, both newspapers are owned by the same umbrella company, which also owns the Express...

In reply to Trevers:

I noticed that loads of papers were using this (Courtesy of Google News). It sells papers - doesn't matter that it's not accurate.

An express reporter explained why their headlines were so limited (Diana, Snow, Madeleine) - that's what shifted copies.

Sad really (but I'd really like a cold winter!)
