Thanks for posting this video. 

Really enjoyed it.

Guy seemed like a decent bloke and a bloody good ice climber. Perhaps he got his priorities in life right too? 

Fingers crossed for some decent ice in the UK this winter.

Good stuff. For those who have come to ice climbing in the 10 or so years since Guy died it's hard to fathom the influence he had, some of which has ebbed away. For so long he was the semi-mythical Lao zi that balanced out the more overt ice and solo climbers like Twight, Kammerlander etc. I like the flick, but personally I think Guy's ideology died with him, and wouldn't have been recognized in the insta-era anyway.

Nice film, but is it really 11 since years since Lacelle died!? Gosh.

Pomme d'Or does look quite an amazing route doesn't it? I've done enough ice to know I'm not good enough, but I still dream of wild Quebec!
