Check this:

There are also a few crags added in the UKC database: https://www.ukclimbing.com/logbook/map/

TobyA will be along shortly with some more concise info. But here's a UKC article based on his earlier blog posts.

I think the only guidebook is this: https://www.needlesports.com/2295/products/the-lyngen-alps.aspx

From memory it only covers a selection of the climbs on the west side of the Lyngen fjord (around Lynseidet itself).

The weblog my partner and I put together contains more information, across a wider area: http://northnorwayice.blogspot.com

It's a stunning part of the world, with ice everywhere. Enjoy!

If you need a place to check out Lyngen Mountain Holidays. Great value, homely place and the owner Colin is a mountain guide so knows the area as well as anyone.

Where did you find that Gareth? The generic titles like "picture" (kuvaus) and "name" (nimi) are in Finnish when I look at it. Not sure if whoever made the map is a Finn or if there is something weird in my Google settings that it thinks I'm still in Finland. Looks useful though!

James B (and Nick) are the real experts on Lyngen Ice these days - I've just dabbled in comparison!

Sylvain31 - its very nice! Doesn't matter what grade you're interested in, there are lots of challenges.

It's by Ari, who really hasn't updated it much over the last few years... Web page is here:

As for how I found it, honestly cant remember! But had saved the link in prep for a trip to Senja as it seemed to have quite a decent bit of info.

I also just realised the UKC article is Nick and James' sorry about that, I think mixed up the two blogs.
