Kinder cloughs and roads

Evening everyone,

just new to the winter stuff and wanting to try one of the cloughs up kinder tomorrow. Anyone know which are the best and more importantly, is the road to Edale open?

any advice would be welcomed

Roads to Edale from Manchester direction are closed. I think you can get there from Sheffield! Which clough is best depends from which angle you're attacking it!

You could consider Wilderness Gully East (Winter) (II) , that's decent enough. You can leg it up there from Greenfield if you can't drive up to the reservoir... http://www.theaa.com/traffic-news/greenfield%20uk/

If you want a gully on Kinder you could do worse than Crowden Clough. Crowden Clough (Winter) (II)
