Someone in a forum post from ancient history recommends an article by Jim Blythe from an old issue of Climber (possibly 96?) about going to the alps in winter for the first time. I've tried and failed to find the article online - does anyone know of a link to it? Or possibly have a copy of that issue that they could send me a picture of?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I don’t have the link, but I can recommend him as a top bloke and guide. He dragged me over Cosmiques Arête and up Mont Blanc quite a few years ago.

Is this the one in which he describes the classic Scottish V type ice falls, like Petit Viking.   If so I definitely have at least a photo copy somewhere as it was a great article and inspiration in 90's before fancy guidebooks and Instagram.

Found it, No More Heroes Feb 1996.  It's the only climbing mag I have not thrown away!

Send me your email and I can send you some pictures.
