Hi all.

Heading over to Val for a few days 30th Dec - 2nd Jan and want to get my first taste of ice climbing.

Does anyone have a company they could recommend? and any advice for a couple starting out is always welcome.

Cheers

James

Look up Laurent Laboudigue - IFMGA guide based in the Espace Killy - super nice guy. Mind you at that time of year he is likely tohave been fully booked for quite some time now, but he should/may be able to point you in the right direction.

Nice one. Will fire him across a mail and see what he's got in the diary. Thanks for you help.

In reply to Pinch'a'salt: we did a half days intro on the ice falls near la daille many years ago- just booked at the guides office in tignes, sure there’ll be similar in val.

The guides office in Val d'Isere is based in the Mountain Pro shop on the main street.
