I am hoping on going on a ice climbing trip during the summer (July, August & September). Is this possible? It would be great if there was somewhere in Europe, but I am willing to go further afield. In essence- How far North/ South do you need to go to find the ice in the British Summer?

Thankfully theres a whole hemisphere of winter climbing during our summer time! New Zealand and South America are the two places on the top of my list if I were to ever go South.

I went ice climbing in South Africa on the Drakensburg in the Southern winter/Norhtern Summer. A couple of pictures of the Giant's Castle area in my albums.
