I was climbing there on Thurs, but its thawed a bit since, I was climbing in Borrowdale yesterday and it was 13 degrees in the valley, however I could see Great End and it has lots of snow left. Custs is full of snow and if you went up VERY early I imagine it could still be a good solo. As for the ice pitches in the harder routes it's hard to say, but I imagine there could be gaps now. One of the edges on Helvellyn might be a better bet....
Theres a big cornice on Central gully with splits in it, so bear that in mind, that's if it hasn't fallen down already....
