On Sunday 4th February we left some abseil gear on the plane wreckage near the top of Fuselage gully with the intention of retrieving it after finishing our route on Fuselage Wall. However, on returning we found that the gear had been removed, presumably by the person or persons who ascended Fuselage gully. If you are those people or you know them then I would appreciate it if you would get in touch with me and we can arrange for you send the gear back.

Thanks

Just for info, you can abseil directly off the propeller and don't need to leave any gear. Probably that's what confused the party coming up.

I enjoyed using the plane as a runner.

It's bomber.

I prefer to just wing it myself.

Hi,

That'll be me. We assumed they'd been forgotten, looked around at the top but the plateau was deserted. I've got a couple of slings and a screwgate. Sorry for the late reply, I've only just got back to Leeds and posted in the found forum yesterday. Give me an address and I'll get them back to you, sorry if it caused any hassle.
