Enjoying the super snowy Highlands

Last week I went up to Fort William to try and get some winter climbing done. Storms had deposited prodigious amounts of snow and slopes on seemingly every aspect were loaded. We still managed to enjoy four lovely days out and the weather even played ball. When ridges are loaded with snow then things sure feel alpine. Hopefully the next time we will get more technical routes done but it was great fun all the same...the report of the trip is here....https://howlingmist.blogspot.com/2020/03/winter-climbingscotland-march-2020...

Thank you for the usual excellent write up and you certainly got lucky with the weather. A total absence of the gales and blizzards from when I was up North a few weeks ago.

Many thanks for that. It was such a treat to get a break from the gales. Makes all the difference.
