BMC lakes winter conditions

Does anyone know if the BMC have any plan to get these up-and-running again?

Great end has been out of action for nearly a year, I can't remember if Helvellyn was working last winter or not?!

Optimistically hoping that the lakes has a mega winter in Nicola Stalin doesn't let us North of the border.

I hope so, as you say with Scotland potentially off the cards the lakes could see a lot of climbers getting their winter fix there.

Fickle winter conditions in the lakes combined with a higher than normal number of frustrated climbers I think the conditions page could be more important than previous years.

Hopefully people will be sensible, there will be other winters after all 🙂
