The Bidean range from the descent off Aonach Eagach

Up for a test? Does the famous Glen Coe skyline race seem just a bit short? John Fleetwood's extended circuit of the area adds plenty more ground. Covering the Black Mount, the Glen Etive hills, and both sides of Glen Coe, this 51-mile epic includes around 27,000 feet of ascent. He's done it in 35 hours, and you'd have to be keen to beat that. Alternatively, load up a backpack and head out for a gruelling long weekend...

I actually did it in 29 hours the first time including 40 minutes wasted looking for my buried food. Definitely do-able in less than 24 hours.
