We're currently working on an article about walkers who have experienced a long recovery from serious or chronic injury. Problems that have kept people out of the hills for extended periods, or at least really compromised their performance and enjoyment when out walking. The piece is concentrating on the psychological side of recovery - the frustration at not being able to get on the hills, FOMO, and the coping strategies people have used. We are looking for case studies to participate in the article. Real names and mugshots preferred, but we can work around that if anyone would rather remain anonymous.
