This engaging memoir by one of the pioneering women of the inter-war years is one of the best accounts we have of the sheer fun of climbing rocks, hills and mountains, says Ronald Turnbull.
One of the first books I read in my youth. Second hand from a bookshop and well worth the pocket money spent! A most enjoyable read of prewar climbing giving a good insight into how it was done back in the day. Still have it on the bookshelf so a reread is in order.
