The number of summits on the Grahams list has increased from 219 to 231, after a switch from Imperial to metric height.

The revision has met with a mixed reaction on social media from walkers currently working through the Grahams, as well as those who've already completed a pre-change round, so we asked the list's owner Alan Dawson to explain the thinking behind the change.

This sounds like a list of "Dawsons" rather than a revision of the Grahams. You cannot alter the basic definition of a hill, particularly when the co-creator is not able to endorse such a radical change. And what is metric about the upper ceiling of 500 feet?  Something doesn't feel right about the rationale for this.
