Enjoyable article - wish I was younger to actually do it. When I walked the GR10 in 2010 I seemed to be quicker than most around (especially on the climbs) yet two weeks before, Kilian Jornet completed it in under 9 days (maybe a slightly less mountainous route choice). And he wasn't carrying a 20+Kg pack.
