Between July 2020 and March 2022 Chris Howard spent most days on his feet, walking more than 11,000 miles around the coastline of Great Britain. From sandy beaches to concrete promenades, industrial wastelands to remote clifftops, what did it take to hike our convoluted shoreline, largely solo, in all seasons and weathers? We caught up with him to find out.
