Is this similar in anyway to where/what "The Coldest Crossing" guys were doing?
In reply to UKC/UKH Gear:

Awesome! I'm doing a traverse in April. How did you get on with the Flexis? Mine are arriving this week, ready to go on some E109's.

In reply to galpinos:

No, they were aiming at a North-South traverse of Iceland.

In reply to UKC/UKH Gear:

No, this was a winter journey that traversed from W to S on the Vatnajokull, plus all the lava fields and lowlands to and from the 1 road.

The flexis were fine as ever - one pair already had 2000 miles through them and were good. We were also testing prototype bindings on a range of skis from 109s to Amundsens. The Bridgedale gear, from hats to socks, held up brilliantly in the cold and damp.

The team didn't have any link to the Coldest Crossing although Icelandic media did ask for our views on it.

Thanks.
